First Unitarian Society of Westchester

Women's Evening Groups

Embracing the Unitarian Universalist belief that we have respect for the interdependent web of all existence and because each of us is part of that connection, all women are invited to share their insights, concerns, fears, wisdom, laughter and joy in a safe and caring place.

Please remember that Someday is not a day of the week. It is not selfish to make time for yourself. Understanding that every person has countless responsibilities including work, family and other social obligations, the evening group has designed two ways to commune with other UU women. The second Friday meeting is a place to enjoy the company of like-minded women. The third Friday meeting is for women who want cumulative conversations that work best with regular attendance. So drop in any second Friday or set aside each and every third Friday of the month to nurture your heart, mind and soul.

Women's Evening Group I: Drop in whenever you can on the second Friday of every month at 7:30.

October 13:  Discuss a person who influenced your life.
November 10:  My Spiritual Past
December 8:  My Spiritual Future
January 12:  Holidays, Holy Days, Horror Days
February 9:  Bring a picture from your past
March 9:  Friendship
April 13:  Significant Book
May 11:   Interests not yet explored
June 8:  Significant Movie

Women's Evening Group II: For those that want to commit to a monthly ongoing group, meet on the third Friday of every month at 7:30.
