Welcome

A Place of Hope

welcome_spring“Come, come, whoever you are…”

We are a liberal religious community creating the world in our image of love.  We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of each person, support the individual search for truth and meaning and know we live in an interdependent web of existence, calling us each to live mindfully of creatures great and small with whom we share this planet.

“Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving…”

We are teachers, lawyers, artists, musicians, writers, psychologists, sole proprietors, editors, secretaries, homemakers, employed, retired or jobless.  We are children, youth and adults, black, white, Asian, Latino, gay, straight, bisexual and transgender.  Some of us were born into Unitarian Universalist families, but many of us found our way here after being Catholic, Jewish Protestant, Muslim, Buddhist, agnostic or atheist.

“Ours is no caravan of despair…”

We are a covenanted community, committed to talkiing, reflecting, pursuing social justice, singing, laughing, and crying together.  We are inspired by our minister; we are inspired by each other. We are inspired by our children and our youth.  We have created a home here where we all feel safe to explore our own spiritual paths and to live deeply with others.  We gather often to explore ways to live our values in our communities and in the world, hoping to make the world a better, more just place.  We educate ourselves--and our children--about the world's other great faiths, always open to the many paths to truth.

“Come, yet again, come.”

Come visit us, come join us.  Stay a little, stay a while.
We welcome you to our community.
